On Friday night a Woodbridge Town 'Legends' Team will be taking on a Brafe XI at The Football Club, all to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Organised by new Woodbridge Town Chairman and Brafe Engineering Director Adam Dalby and WTFC Commercial Manager David Miller the gates open at 5pm before the match Kicks Off at 6:30pm.
The Woodbridge line up will be a 'whos who' of players from years gone by and it will be a sight to see them together again, whilst I'm sure they will enjoy catching up and reminiscing after the game. However The Brafe side aren't just there to make up the numbers and not only have they been training they also won a friendly match recently!
"It's a great opportunity to raise money for a great cause, alongside connecting the football club, community and local business, said Adam, Macmillan Cancer Support is a charity which is at the heart of both Brafe Engineering and Woodbridge Town Football Club.
My sincere thanks to all colleagues and friends who have helped to organise the event and also to all of the local businesses that have supported with raffle prizes and donations."
"Grab a drink, something to eat and enjoy!"
The raffle is bound to be popular with some fantastic prizes ranging from a £100 Amazon voucher, local luxury food hampers, Aspall's Cider collection, even a private 1 hour flight over Suffolk and many, many more amazing items.
There will be a number of inflatables for the family to enjoy.
After the match there will be a live DJ and 'The Rev' will also be playing live music until late.
A BBQ will be running throughout the evening and the club house bar, which is expected to be busy, will be open for the duration.
We're looking forward to a great evening whilst raising lots of money.
