Writer's picture: Woodbridge TownWoodbridge Town

George Bowman has, today, left the club for pastures new.

George has over 170 appearances at the club, notching 30 goals in that time. The exciting midfielder broke into the first team in the 2015-16 season, at the age of 16, score 11 goals that season, 2 of which were for the reserves and his first coming on his debut.

However fans will undoubtedly remember The 'Big Dog' for his roles in the double winning season where he made a staggering 45 appearances culminating in an assist and the 3rd goal in the Cup Final at Portman Road.

George wishes to thank all of the supporters that have wished him well since he started with the club back when he was 6 years old with The Woodpeckers.

Kieran Hayden, who has featured in 8 games this season has also left the club earlier in the week.

We wish George and Kieran all the best with their future endeavors.
