Three goals from Marcus Josiah and a first hatrick at senior level for young George Baldry, secured the points in an entertaining game.

Woodbridge started the game moving the ball quickly and with purpose, and a fine run and pull back by Josh Carraccio found Marcus Josiah to slot the ball calming past the Thetford keeper on 7mins.

A through ball from Captain James Balaam, found Marcus Josiah in space to fire in his second of the game inside 12mins.

Reece Booth supplied the cross after an intelligent run from Right back, for George Baldry to slot home from 10 yards after 16mins.

Marcus Josiah, finding space again on the edge of the area, and losing his 2 Thetford markers, fired low and right past the stranded Thetford keeper for a well earned hatrick and Woodbridge Towns 4th on 20mins.

Thetford made changes to try and cope with the pace of the 4 pronged attack of Woodbridge Town forward line, and started to come into the game.

Despite being 4-0 down, Thetford started to press and were awarding for this with a penalty on 30mins.

Spurred on, Thetford scored again from a headed cross just on half time to make it 4-2.

Thetford continued their fight back after half time with another headed goal from a free kick on 55mins to make it 4-3.

Woodbridge, settled down and started to play their passing game again, and another fine pass from James Balaam on the left, fell to George Baldry to turn on the edge to the area, lose his marker, and round the Thetford Keeper to put Woodbridge 5-3 up on 74mins.

Thetford pulled a goal back after a scramble in the 6 yard area from a corner that Woodbridge failed to clear to make it 5-4 after 80mins.

Woodbridge again pressed forward, and a Marcus Josiah cross from the right, found George Baldry to score his first hatrick on his debut, and Woodbridge Towns 6th on 83mins.

Thetford, to there credit, pulled a goal back in the last 5mins to make for a tense finish.
