Woodbridge started the game
moving the ball quickly and with purpose, and a
fine run and pull back by Josh Carraccio found
Marcus Josiah to slot the ball calming past the
Thetford keeper on 7mins.

Balaam, found Marcus Josiah in space to fire in
his second of the game inside 12mins.
Reece Booth supplied the cross
after an intelligent run from Right back, for
George Baldry to slot home from 10 yards after

Marcus Josiah, finding space
again on the edge of the area, and losing his 2
Thetford markers, fired low and right past the
stranded Thetford keeper for a well earned
hatrick and Woodbridge Towns 4th on

Thetford made changes to try and
cope with the pace of the 4 pronged attack of
Woodbridge Town forward line, and started to
come into the game.
Despite being 4-0 down, Thetford
started to press and were awarding for this with
a penalty on 30mins.
Spurred on, Thetford scored again
from a headed cross just on half time to make it
4-2.
Thetford continued their fight
back after half time with another headed goal
from a free kick on 55mins to make it 4-3.
Woodbridge, settled down and
started to play their passing game again, and
another fine pass from James Balaam on the left,
fell to George Baldry to turn on the edge to the
area, lose his marker, and round the Thetford
Keeper to put Woodbridge 5-3 up on 74mins.
Thetford pulled a goal back after
a scramble in the 6 yard area from a corner that
Woodbridge failed to clear to make it 5-4 after
80mins.
Woodbridge again pressed forward,
and a Marcus Josiah cross from the right, found
George Baldry to score his first hatrick on his
debut, and Woodbridge Towns 6th on
83mins.
Thetford, to there credit, pulled
a goal back in the last 5mins to make for a
tense finish.
