Harwich & Parkeston 0 Woodbridge Town 2
Saturday 12 September 2009
The timely introduction of substitutes Marcus Josiah and Dan Morphew brought the game to life and Woodbridge their second away win of the season.
During the first hour of play the stalemate only once looked like being broken when Town keeper Adam Wilson fingertipped a rasping 35 yard drive onto his crossbar but the introduction of Josiah and Morphew a midweek signing from Melton, turned the flow of play into a one way assault on the Harwich goal.

Morphew sent Josiah off towards goal with 15 minutes remaining but the lively striker was felled by Shrimpers keeper Lee Mahoney and Tom Trevivian dispatched the resultant spot kick. Six minutes later the pair combined again and Morphew finished the move with a well directed shot into the corner of the Harwich net.

Morphew became the ninth Town player to register a single goal this season, all of whom have the opportunity to double their tally and become leading scorer when Hadleigh visit Notcutts Park on Wednesday evening.
