Woodbridge Town 0 Debenham LC 2
Monday 28th December 2009
Woodbridge see out a torrid 2009 with another home defeat.
Despite a bright start when Josh Mayhew headed wide and Marcus Josiah forced a smart save from visiting keeper Louis Johnson, the Hornets took the lead after Woodbridge failed to clear a corner and Ben Deacon converted with an overhead kick.

Debenham should have made it two when Deacon attempted another overhead kick shortly after the break which hit the crossbar and Ian Gedny sent the rebound over the bar from eight yards. Ben Seaman and Josiah came close to levelling the score, with Josiah's attempt striking the upright but Debenham secured the points on the hour with a simple side foot finish from Gedny.
