Woodbridge Town 1 AFC Sudbury 4
Wednesday 4th November 2009
AFC Sudbury left it until late to settle this Suffolk Premier Cup first round tie, scoring three times in the final ten minutes.

Skipper Gareth Heath outpaced the Woodbridge defence to give the visitors a fourth minute lead, but Woodbridge captain Aaron Churchyard had replied within two minutes to restore parity. An interesting tussle ensued until veteran Chris Tracey headed in from a corner kick on 80 minutes. Late strikes from Sam Clarke and Gareth Heath gave a rather flattering edge to the scoreline to set up a quarter final tie for the West Suffolk side at Bury Town.
